Eric's love of the cowboy lifestyle has been with him since his childhood. Unfortunately, he was born in the wrong era to conquer the wild western frontier. Nonetheless, Eric had the cowboy's heart, always believing in a hard days' work and "a man's good word".

 

With the founding of Rising Son Ranch, Eric's cowboy dream has finally become reality, and he is proud to share a glimpse of that dream with each of our visitors - if you can find him, that is! If he's not on a horse, Eric is most often spotted from a distance, putzing around on the tractor or tinkering around with a bucket of tools.

Following in her father's footsteps, Hannah was "bit with the horse bug" as a child and never recovered. As a lifelong equestrian, Hannah has competed in a wide variety of disciplines, including eventing, cow sorting, and endurance. Hannah also loves trail riding through the beautiful scenery of Minnesota and Wisconsin, and rides over 200 miles in state parks every year! Because of this, Hannah takes great pride in producing safe, experienced trail and all-around horses.

Hannah is passionate about the connections we make with our horses and buyers, and loves to discuss our horses, horse psychology, horse training theories, horse care management, or anything remotely horse related.  Hannah jokes that she's "the podcast you never subscribed to", but in reality, she's always happy to assist in any way she can!
